Playground Safety Matting 

Rubber safety mats for playgrounds have been designed to reduce the risk of any injury caused by falling from equipment on the playgrounds and have been tested in accordance with EN 1177 regulation. They are made from recycled rubber and come in a choice of three colours – red, green and black.  Playground matting comes in tile form, and the tiles are laid together to create a safe surface of your chosen size/shape.

Footfall Bounce DM modular tiles protect up to a critical fall height of 4 metres and area tested to European Standard DIN EN 1177.

The EN1177 is issued by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN), and specifies the requirements for surfacing to be used on children’s playgrounds and specific requirements for areas where impact attenuation is necessary.
